Designing a large-scale hotel on the Weligama coastline presented multiple challenges. The site demanded a solution that could withstand harsh coastal conditions, ensure climate resilience, and meet the expectations of a world-class hospitality experience. The challenge was to balance luxury, sustainability, and environmental sensitivity while capturing the unique identity of Weligama’s coastal landscape.
Eco Twin 14 crafted a conceptual design that seamlessly integrates modern architecture with natural beauty. The plan features open, light-filled spaces, sustainable materials, and energy-efficient systems designed to minimize the ecological footprint. By incorporating ocean-facing rooms, landscaped leisure areas, and eco-conscious construction techniques, the design not only maximizes guest experience but also respects the coastal environment. This conceptual hotel embodies the future of sustainable beachfront luxury in Sri Lanka.
